A Smashing New Year

Oh dear, whatever is the matter with my hubby and I? At the beginning of the week I broke a wine glass, then he broke one. Yesterday he broke another and yes you have guessed it, I broke one this evening. They always seem to have something in, spilling the contents all over as they shatter.
Looks like I will be on the look out for some new ones. Hope this run of bad luck will soon go away.

Hi, so nice to meet you! I ended up going with those disposable coffee cups. They keep my coffee warm longer and I am always ready to walk out the door with coffee in hand. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I will get back to posting soon. I have had a little cold but now I am ready to get back to work! Greece! Wow!

Thanks for entering my giveaway. It's nice to meet you. When I read this entry my first thought was of all those old movies showing people in Greece dancing and throwing plates on the floor! Maybe you're just sarting with wineglasses and coffee cups and later you'll move up to plates!!

are you sure you aren't just making an excuse to go shopping? i bought the stemless wine glasses and adore them, they aren't as tipsy. :)

No kate, I bought two new mugs the other day and dropped them on the floor and broke them both. I really do hope this is going to be a passing phase

If the glasses contain red wine there is an extra Arrrgh! as it hits the carpet!
Though come to think of it you may have tiled floors (thinking of our Greek hols) which are very unforgiving but at least they can be wiped (lol)
Thanks for visiting my blog by the way.
