Siamese Twins???????????

SV202784

This I found very interesting and have not seen anything like it before. I prepare lettuce everyday at work. All just like this one, but then I found this one was different. The outer leaves formed one lettuce as you can see, but underneath those leaves

SV202785

It had two heads but only one stalk.

Have you seen anything like this?

SV202788

What could have caused it?

SV202790

Could it have been the fertilizer or pesticides or just a fluke of nature? It certainly makes you wonder.

Cue twilight music...uh oh...lettuces are mutating...soon they will become lettuce men and destroy the world!!! Sorry, got carried away...still very peculiar! :) xxx

Haven't ever encountered twin lettuce! But nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to our food. They keep messing around with it and pretty soon we'll be eating nothing but fake food!

Thanks for stopping by to visit. I'm coughing and sputtering from the smoke but I'm getting around to visit, too.

I'm sure you could write a child's story about the two headed lettuce... and it's friend the plastic pepper!!!

What will we be finding next I wonder???
